08:00 – 10:00 | Morning Yoga Practice
10:00 – 11:15 | Nourishing Brunch
11:15 – 13:15 | Lecture & Exploration
13:15 – 16:30 | Rest, Integration, and Free Time
17:00 – 19:00 | Evening Embodiment Practice
19:00 onward | Communal Dinner & Evening Unwind
The 50 hours training comprehends contact and non-contact hours. Contact hours are all class times with the teacher (40) + non-contact hours (final assignment and study of online materials).
If you´re not interested in completing certification and just want to come to the course as a personal self-care retreat you don´t need non-contact hours module of the training.

Sofia Araujo
Sofia Araujo is a yoga mentor, founder of Swara Yoga School and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner™️. She shares an enthusiastic passion for holistic health and movement education through Yoga, Ayurveda, Nutrition & Yoga Therapy for Women, with over 1500 hours of certified studies. A teacher for the last 18 years, she brings a refinement to the practice of yoga, that is uplifting, sustainable and unique to her flair.

🌿 Welcome to The Yoga Farm @ Casa Cortijo
Nestled in the wild beauty of the Andalusian foothills, Cortijo Casería del Mercado is an organic farm in rural southern Spain – a soulful eco-farm sanctuary — a place where nature, simplicity, and community converge.
The property is situated on the edge of the Sierra Nevada National Park and where you can enjoy a variety of local fauna and flora. At 1250 meters above sea level, this Centre offers the best of fresh clean mountain air and the southern Spanish summer sun.
This off-grid haven offers raw open landscapes, expansive skies, and lush walking trails that invite deep reconnection.
With two beautiful practice spaces, rustic-chic accommodations, and fresh local meals, the farm is alive year-round with the rhythm of the earth and the hands of international volunteers (woofers) who help tend the land.
This is simple yogaic luxury: barefoot living, shared meals, sunrise silence, and a space to return to what’s real.

Getting Here
The easiest way to get to Orgiva is to fly first to Granada or Malaga Airports. Malaga has many more options for flights coming from most European cities.
Our pick up point is in Orgiva on the first day of the training.
We often recommend arriving the day before and either stay a night in Malaga or Granada.

Food & Accommodation
This beautiful Eco-Farm has been adapted as a retreat centre with traditional Spanish accommodation, a natural mineral water swimming pool and two Yoga Shala’s; one indoor and one outdoor.
The main Yoga Room is spacious and has a broad view of the surrounding mountains. The accommodation rooms are simple, clean and comfortable, appointed in the same manner found in Ashram style living, and there are single and shared rooms available.
In our trainings diet plays a fundamental role. All our meals are vegan/vegetarian and 80% of the ingredients are organic. Most of the vegetables are coming directly from the eco-farm we are staying and all the meals are prepared by a qualified chefs. We have a module on nutrition in the course and you´ll learn the principles behind our food preparation.
