160+ songs · chords for guitar, ukulele, piano and harmonium
Mantras, heart songs and medicine music from around the world, gathered over fifteen years of singing in circles. Every song has simple chords, and almost every one has audio recorded live in my classes, so you can hear how it moves before you ever sing it.
Both editions include the audio library, the book to read on any screen, and every future edition at no extra cost.

That is the part where people stop. You find a song you love, you open the page, and you have no idea how it is meant to sound. So it goes back on the shelf and stays there.
Almost every song in this book comes with a recording of a real room singing it, from my Vocal Activation classes at The Yoga Barn in Ubud. You can listen first, hum along in the car, and join in properly when you are ready. Nobody is watching, and nobody is waiting for you to be good at it.
A hundred and seven pages in six parts. It began as the songbook I kept rewriting for my own circles, because I could never find one that held the songs and taught you what to do with them.

Recorded live in my classes at The Yoga Barn, so you are singing with a room rather than guessing at a melody on your own.
The whole book, page by page, on any screen. Useful when your printed copy is in the other room, or when you want to search for a song.
The current PDF and the full audio folder, on your own device, so you can practise somewhere with no signal at all.
New songs get added and the copy in your library is always the current one. I write and tell you when it happens. You never pay again.
The songs are the same in both. The only difference is whether you want a real book in your hands.
If there is one you already love, check the contents, then find it in the audio so you can hear how it moves before you sing it.
Close your eyes, open a page, learn whatever is there. Some of my favourites arrived exactly that way.
Five minutes a day with one song will teach you more than an hour of skipping between ten.
These were built for circles, not headphones. Even one other person changes what happens in your body.
Somewhere to keep singing
People open the songbook, love it, sing for a week, and then life gets loud and it goes quiet on the shelf. Singing was never meant to be held up by willpower on your own. It was meant to happen in a room.
A live circle with me each month, and an ongoing space to bring whatever you are working on. You already have the book. This is the room. $33 a month, leave any time.
Yes. The chords are simple, and the audio does most of the work. Plenty of people in my circles sing every song in this book without ever picking up a guitar.
You get an email with a link to your library. The audio is there, the book to read on screen is there, and so are the files to download and keep.
The songs are identical. The printed edition is a physical book you collect from me in person in Ubud, and it also includes everything in the digital edition.
No. The library always holds the current edition, and I write to tell you when it grows.
It lives at pureflow.yoga/heartsong-library. Bookmark it. That is the page you will keep coming back to.
If there is a song you have been carrying for years and cannot find anywhere, write to me at francie@pureflow.yoga and I will tell you whether it is in the book. I read every one of those, and a few of them ended up in here.
