Trauma-informed 1:1 sessions
For those ready to gently interrupt the patterns shaping their relationships, their work, and their sense of self.
A steady, grounded space to explore what lives beneath anxiety, self-doubt, over-giving, and overwhelm.
For the curious, the courageous, the healing ones
When life feels heavy and the old tools no longer reach the depth of what you’re carrying, Compassionate Inquiry offers another way. This gentle, somatic-based approach helps you feel safe enough to meet yourself with compassion, uncover the roots of your pain, and begin to heal in relationship.
This work creates space for truth, presence, and wholeness. Together we explore the patterns and protections that have kept you stuck, so you can feel more connected, regulated, and free to live in resonance.
The approach
A gentle, somatic-based approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté to help you explore, understand, and transform what lives beneath the surface. Rather than fixing or overriding what you feel, this work makes room for you to meet yourself with curiosity, presence, and compassion.
Through guided exploration you begin to uncover the patterns, triggers, and protective strategies that keep you stuck, and bring kindness to the parts of you that have waited longest for attention.
Is this for you
No previous experience is needed. Just bring your willingness to be seen, held, and met.
What to expect
A gentle, guided process designed to help you slow down, tune in, and uncover what is happening beneath the surface.
We begin with a short check-in and a grounding practice, so there is safety and presence before anything else.
Through compassionate questions and somatic awareness, we gently explore the thoughts, feelings, and sensations connected to your experience.
Together we uncover the unconscious patterns or beliefs that may be keeping you stuck, and meet them with clarity and compassion.
You leave with tools, practices, or reflections to help you carry the session into your daily life.
Sessions are 60 to 75 minutes, held online via Zoom, or in person where available. Everything is confidential.
Investment
This work builds. Safety is not something we arrange in an hour, it grows between us session by session, and that is where the real change tends to happen. So both doors ask for a little time.

$125
USD a month · three-month minimum
Right if you would rather not put an end date on it, and you want somewhere to return to each month.
Start the monthly rhythmI used to offer a one-off session, and I have quietly stopped. This work is relational. What lets us go anywhere real is the trust and the safety that build between us over time, and one hour is rarely long enough for that to arrive.
There are exceptions. If a single session is genuinely what you need right now, book a call and tell me, and we will find the right way in.
From people I’ve sat with
“Francie is very calm, personable and non-judgemental. She created a safe space where I was able to notice emotional and somatic responses I might otherwise have missed. I unravelled a lot in a very short space of time.”
“I felt supported enough to stay with uncomfortable feelings instead of trying to fix them or run from them. Nothing was wrong with me. Something old was showing up, and I could meet it with compassion.”
“I felt deeply seen and supported in exploring a trigger that kept showing up in my relationships. I left the session feeling more settled, empowered, and able to stay present with what’s actually happening.”
Why I offer this
For the past twenty years I have immersed myself in the path of yoga, devotion, and healing, a journey that gave me tools for self-inquiry, movement, and nervous system regulation. And yet, when I lost everything during the pandemic, my home, my retreat centre of eight years, my income, my identity, I spiralled into a grief that no amount of yoga or mindfulness could touch.
Despite years of plant medicine, silent retreats, and spiritual practice, I found myself deeply suffering. I felt broken in a way my existing tools could not hold. That is when Compassionate Inquiry entered my life.
This approach offered me something radically different: the ability to meet myself from presence, curiosity, and truth. It helped me move from knowing things intellectually to actually feeling and integrating them. It taught me that safety is the prerequisite for healing, and that because so much of our wounding happens in relationship, true healing often needs to happen in relationship too.
I’m not sharing this from a pedestal of being fully healed. I’m sharing it as someone more self-aware, more regulated, and more compassionate with herself than ever before, who believes deeply in what this work can do for you as well.
Trained in Compassionate Inquiry, the approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté. I completed the year-long Professional Online Training, and then the formal six-month Mentorship Program, 142 hours with Dr. Gabor Maté and Sat Dharam Kaur, completed February 2026.

Before we begin
Compassionate Inquiry is a complementary, therapeutic approach that blends somatic awareness, presence, and inquiry to support your healing. It is distinct from psychotherapy, diagnosis, or medical treatment.
If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, in transition, or simply curious about what sits beneath a recurring pattern, this work can meet you. People come for support with stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, or to reconnect with their own clarity.
Same work, same $125 a session, different shape. The four-session journey has a beginning, a middle and an end, usually over four or five months, and it suits something specific you want to move through. The monthly is open ended, one session a month for as long as it serves you, with a three-month minimum so there is time for something to actually shift.
Rarely, and only by conversation. This work rests on the safety that builds between us over time, so a single hour is not usually where it does its best work. If one session is genuinely what you need, book a free 20-minute call and tell me.
Yes, fully. What you share in a session stays between us.
Online via Zoom, or in person where noted, and 60 to 75 minutes each, which gives us room to settle, explore, and integrate. You receive a link and any preparation details after booking.
The package is designed to be flexible. Ideally sessions are spaced about once a month, and we find a rhythm that fits your life.
Bring yourself, an open heart, and a quiet private space where you can speak and feel freely. A journal nearby helps for reflection afterwards.
Is this work calling you
