What happens now
A confirmation has just landed with your time in your own timezone, and the link we’ll meet on. If it isn’t there in the next few minutes, have a look in your promotions tab or your spam folder, and add me to your contacts so nothing else goes astray.
That same email has a reschedule link in it. Life happens, and moving the call is completely fine. I’d just rather you moved it than quietly didn’t come.
What this actually is
Bring whatever is live for you. A question about your voice, something that keeps catching in your throat, or a straight “is this even for me”. You don’t need to prepare anything, and you really don’t need to arrive polished.
I’m not going to sell at you. If we’re a fit, you’ll feel it before I say anything. If we’re not, I’ll tell you that too, and point you somewhere better.
Somewhere between now and then, notice where your voice goes quiet. Not why, that comes later. Just where, and with whom. That noticing is usually most of the conversation already.
