This work isn’t about fixing, it’s about creating space for truth, presence, and wholeness. Together, we explore the patterns and protections that have kept you stuck, so you can feel more connected, regulated, and free to live in resonance.

What is Compassionate Inquiry ?

Compassionate Inquiry is a gentle, somatic-based approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté to help you explore, understand, and transform what’s beneath the surface. Rather than trying to fix or override what you’re feeling, this work creates space for you to meet yourself with curiosity, presence, and compassion.

Through guided exploration, you’ll begin to uncover the patterns, triggers, and protective strategies that keep you stuck, and bring awareness and kindness to the parts of yourself that most need attention.

✨ What is a Session Like?

Each Compassionate Inquiry session is a gentle, guided process designed to help you slow down, tune in, and uncover what’s happening beneath the surface.

Here’s how a typical session flows:

1. Arrival & Grounding – We’ll begin with a short check-in and a grounding practice to create safety and presence.

2.Exploration – Through compassionate questions and somatic awareness, we’ll gently explore the thoughts, feelings, and body sensations connected to your experience.

3. Insight & Connection – Together, we’ll uncover unconscious patterns or beliefs that may be keeping you stuck, bringing clarity and compassion.

4.Integration – You’ll leave with tools, practices, or reflections to help you integrate the session into your daily life.

💫 Sessions are 60-75 minutes, held online via Zoom (or in person where available). All sessions are confidential, and with your consent may be recorded as part of my Compassionate Inquiry certification process.

Francie La Flow

Francie is a 500-hour Yoga Alliance certified teacher trainer and the inspired founder of the award-winning Pure Flow Yoga School, voted one of the top retreats in the world by The Guardian UK.

She is a passionate and free-spirited yogi, vocal activation guide, musician, mentor, community advocate, teacher, hula hooper, and joy-spreader, dedicated to uplifting and inspiring people from all walks of life to live connected, balanced, and magical lives.

Having organized and led more than 200 retreats for thousands of yogis from around the globe, Francie offers inspiring and playful experiences that weave her love of flow, embodiment, storytelling, music, and dance with her knowledge of mindfulness, meditation, pranayama, energy, anatomy, and yogic philosophy.

Why This Work Matters to Me

For the past 20 years, I’ve immersed myself in the path of yoga, devotion, and healing — a journey that gifted me tools for self-inquiry, movement, and nervous system regulation. And yet, when I lost everything during the pandemic — my home, my retreat center of 8+ years, my income, my identity — I spiraled into a grief that no amount of yoga or mindfulness could touch.

Despite years of plant medicine, silent retreats, and spiritual practice, I found myself deeply suffering. I felt broken in a way that my existing tools couldn’t hold.

That’s when Compassionate Inquiry entered my life.

This approach offered me something radically different: the ability to meet myself not from a place of fixing or bypassing, but from presence, curiosity, and truth. It helped me move from knowing things intellectually… to actually feeling and integrating them.

Compassionate Inquiry taught me that safety is the prerequisite for healing — and because so much of our wounding happens in relationship, true healing often needs to happen in relationship too.

This work isn’t about revisiting the past for the sake of it. It’s about gently tracing the roots of our present-day pain — the patterns, triggers, and protective strategies that keep us stuck — and bringing compassion, awareness, and loving attention to the places we’ve long exiled.

I’m not sharing this from a pedestal of being “fully healed.” I’m sharing this as someone who is more self-aware, more regulated, and more compassionate with herself than ever before — and who deeply believes in the power of this work to support you, too.

This offering is a continuation of my own journey, and an invitation into yours.

What is Compassionate Inquiry?

Compassionate Inquiry is a gentle, somatic-based, trauma-informed approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté. It helps uncover and release unconscious beliefs and patterns that keep us stuck, so we can reconnect with our authentic self.

How do I know if this is right for me?

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, in transition, or curious to explore what’s beneath recurring patterns, CI can support you. Many people come to sessions for support with stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply to reconnect with their inner clarity and truth.

What’s the difference between the 1-session and the 5-session journey?

1 Session ($97 certification rate): A powerful introduction or a focused exploration of one theme.

5 Sessions ($444 certification rate): A deeper journey that builds trust and continuity, allowing meaningful integration and lasting transformatio

Are these therapy sessions?

No. Compassionate Inquiry is not psychotherapy, diagnosis, or medical treatment. It is a complementary, therapeutic approach that blends somatic awareness, presence, and inquiry to support your healing journey.

Will my sessions be confidential?

Yes. All sessions are fully confidential. With your consent, they may be recorded and submitted anonymously as part of my Compassionate Inquiry certification case studies.

How are sessions held?

Sessions are held online via Zoom (or in person if noted). You’ll receive a link and any preparation details after booking.

How long is each session?

Each session is approximately 75 minutes, giving us space to settle, explore, and integrate.

What if I can’t make all the sessions?

The 5-session journey is designed to be flexible. Ideally, sessions are spaced about once a month, but we can work together to find a rhythm that fits your schedule.

Can I start with 1 session and then upgrade to the 5-session package?

Yes! Many people start with a single session to get a feel for the work, and if you decide to continue, we can apply that toward your 5-session journey.

What do I need to prepare for a session?

Simply bring yourself, an open heart, and a quiet, private space where you can speak and feel freely. Having a journal nearby can also be helpful for reflection afterward.
